Just got a new shih tzu puppy! I named him Pigg. hahaha He’s only 12 1/2 weeks old now.

He eats everything he finds - dried leaves, bugs, weeds, grass, dead things, dust balls, well, you get the picture. He knows how to fetch sort of though and is the sweetest little thing.

I officially graduated today with a Bachelor of Science Degree...

I officially graduated today with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Physiological Sciences. I am still in disbelief. I’m glad that my good friend Lily was able to join me on this momentous occasion. Even though it was just us two, I had the greatest time because I hadn’t laughed that much in a long time, the awkward ceremony was just too funny. It was a really nice and heartwarming experience even though my parents could not be there to join me. At least I had my friends :D.

My dad sent me a voicemail though: “Hey Lin, I tried to look for the youtube, but I couldn’t find it…okay..alright, see you tomorrow, congratulation..you made it..okay, love you. bye.” - in context, I told him that you could stream the event if he typed into google UCLA commencement, but he didn’t know how to spell commencement and he couldn’t find the link, but I know that he wanted to be there and was sorry he couldn’t make it. But at least he and my family will be there for my departmental one tomorrow.

These four years went by extremely quickly and I have learned so much over these years. I think I’ve come out of my shell a bit more and really experienced many new things - especially this quarter. From singing on stage at brewco, going to Vegas with UKS, taking my first asian american studies classes, doing the undie run, and experiencing my first ever “maid” cafe this morning (yes, you heard right), I have to say that I’ve had a blast UCLA. I would not trade any of these moments away.

I had some good times at UCLA, I’m gonna miss everyone, but I know that we all will stay in touch. Can’t believe I’m a UCLA alum now!!

Final Finals

I’m procrastinating right now, but I am 2 hours away from my second to last final at UCLA (hopefully). This morning’s final though was the first test that I did not study for at ucla, what a disaster it was. haha
